This site is designed to help inform and allow you to prepare for the outdoors and to be Red Cross Ready in the event of a tragedy and disaster..

We are about helping you help yourself.  With the cost of goods on the rise, an uncertain economy and the increase in global civil unrest a wise individual is a prepared individual. The Red Cross and FEMA say that you should have enough supplies to care for yourself for three days – two weeks. However many survivalist suggest supplies for a much longer period of time.

Being prepared can be an overwhelming task when taken on as a whole. The easiest way to prepare  is to assess your risks, make a plan and build two kits; one for hunkering down  in your home and one to take with you should you need to leave your home. Even the common storm causes an interruption of electrical power. How long can you stay in your home without electric power? What would you do? What do you need? Where would you go? Does everyone in your family know this information as well?

Start with an evacuation bag also known as EVAC BAGS, GO-BAGS, BUG OUT BACKPACKS, TRAVEL BAGS… there are many names.  Just have what you need put together in an easy to carry bag ready to go. “He who is packed is on the freeway first.” And if you are staying in your home at a minimum you’ll have your emergency supplies in one spot. Once you have you EVAC BAG then think of short and long term in home survival.

Weather you buy from us or not, do yourself a favor and prepare your family in the event something turns your world upside down. Being self-reliant makes you one that can help and not the one in need of help. In the event of a natural or a manmade disaster, 911 and emergency response will be slow, if not occurring. You need a First Aid Kit and a crank powered radio at a bare minimum, followed by water, food and shelter. Please visit our Emergency Preparedness category. We offer self-generating powered radios, solar chargers, Emergency blankets, rain gear, and more. The wide range of equipment and apparel that we have you will be glad you have when the situation arises.
